Kilalanin ang Bagong F4 ng Meteor Garden 2018 na Pinagkakaguluhan ngayon sa Social Media!

More than a decade ago, one of the most iconic Asian dramas which jump-started Pinoys’ obsession over chinitos and unlikely love stories between a rich, haughty boy and a poor, feisty girl was the Taiwanese series, “Meteor Garden”.

The show fanned every girl’s fervent dream of meeting a rich Asian guy, aside from achieving a deathly pallor over the papaya-whitened skin.

Back in early 2000’s, everyone would tune in to ABS-CBN as soon as the line “Oh baby, baby, baby. My baby, baby” chimes from the TV screen.

Never mind the Chinese lyrics – we’re here for the love triangle of Shan Cai, Dao Ming Si, and Hua Ze Lei, and the antics of F4, a band of four rich college kids.

While we missed the original F4, there have been recent talks of a Meteor Garden remake after Angie Chai, the show’s creator, announced of a new “fuller and flashier” version of the series last April.

According to reports, the remake will most likely be shown in 2018.
And now, PUSH reported that the next F4 was finally introduced by appearing on the cover of “Harper’s Bazaar China”.

According to Drama Panda website, Wang He Di, Guan Hong, Liang Jingkang, and Wu Xize will be the new batch of Meteor Garden actors.

However, their roles were not yet announced when the magazine cover was rolled out, and they were set to publicly appear as a group in a couple of days.

Here are their drool-worthy photos:

What does Angie Chai think of the young actors? “Each of them has a unique quality that is very appealing to me, I believe #NewMeteorGardenF4 will give everyone a different kind of surprise,” she was quoted as saying.

The Taiwanese series was based on the Japanese manga, “Hana Yori Dango”, which launched the successful careers of Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu across Asia as F4. As a boy band, they went on to release three albums. Eventually, they stopped and laid low for a while.

Aside from the Taiwanese adaption, Japan, and South Korea also aired their own versions of Hana Yori Dango. In fact, the Korean version, “Boys Over Flowers”, rocketed lead Lee Min Ho to international stardom.
